2002-2005 Audi A4 Intake Kit Installation Instructions

Download Kit Part # 51/54-10322. Complete kit. Make sure you have all the components before you begin your installation. Complete stock intake. a. Remove two screws holding factory fresh air duct in place. b. Pull fresh air duct out of vehicle and save for later use a. Remove two screws holding top half of airbox in place. b. Loosen clamp holding factory tube in place. c. Unplug MAF Sensor Remove top half of factory airbox. Remove clamp holding top breather filter on factory tube. Remove clamps holding second breather from top of factory tube. Save elbow for later use. Remove clamps holding third breather filter from top of factory tube. Plug can be disconnected for ease of removal. Loosen clamp holding fourth breather down from top of tube with slotted screwdriver. Loosen clamp at turbo and Last breather tube. Pull factory tube out of vehicle. Pull off front grill near Passenger side fog lamp. Remove fog light from vehicle. Remove fitting from air pump hose and install provided breather filter. Install filter onto air pump and replace fog lamp and grill. Remove MAF Sensor from top half of air box.Using provided Gasket and (2) M4x.7×16 screws install MAF Sensor onto aFe intake tube. Step 16 Install provided reducer coupler onto tube using provided clamps (#32, #44). Install two reduction fittings. Install (5) provided grommets into tube. Install larger reduction fittings onto grommet near turbo coupling Install shorter reduction fittings on grommet nearest the MAFSensor Step 17 Place aFe housing and tube into vehicle. Align housing clip on base and align sides of housing to airbox. Step 18 Slide tube coupling onto turbo. Tighten clamp at turbo end with 5/16″ Nut driver. Install lowest breather onto large reduction barb fitting. Use provided #16 mini clamp. Step 19 Use provided 8.5″L x 3/8″ hose with 3/8″ elbow and clamp. Install onto second from bottom fitting. Tighten clamp onto factory switch valve. Verify plug is reconnected.
